REV Exploration Starts Drilling at Aden Dome to Test Stacked Helium Targets Along Alberta-Montana Border
REV Exploration has commenced drilling at its 100%-owned Aden Dome Project along the Alberta-Montana border, launching a planned multi-well exploration program focused primarily on helium opportunities across the Northern Great Plains.
The Aden 12-4-1-9W4 well will test two principal reservoir targets: Devonian Beaverhill Lake carbonates and the deeper Basal Cambrian sandstone. Both sit within what REV describes as a seismically defined four-way structural closure.
The well marks the transition of Aden Dome from geophysical target definition into direct subsurface testing.
REV's geological model combines several elements the company considers prospective for helium accumulation: deep structural architecture, potential gas-migration pathways, multiple porous reservoir intervals and structural closure capable of providing a trap.
The drilling program will test whether those interpreted geological components translate into helium-bearing reservoir intervals.
The stacked nature of the targets is particularly relevant.
Rather than relying on a single prospective horizon, REV will investigate both the Devonian Beaverhill Lake interval and the deeper Basal Cambrian sandstone within the same structural target.
The deeper portion of the well also introduces a secondary exploration objective.
REV says the Basal Cambrian and underlying Precambrian basement complex have potential for natural hydrogen, although helium remains the primary target of the Aden program.
That creates the possibility of evaluating two emerging gas opportunities within a single deep geological test: helium within the targeted reservoir intervals and natural hydrogen potential closer to the basement system.
The company has not yet reported gas concentrations, reservoir properties or flow data from Aden. Those questions will depend on drilling observations, formation evaluation and subsequent analytical work.
Drilling is being carried out by Savanna Drill Rig #416, a Super Single rig that recently completed Lawson 2, Lawson 3 and Lawson 4 for MAX Power Mining at the Lawson natural hydrogen discovery in south-central Saskatchewan.
The connection extends beyond the drilling contractor.
REV has a technical collaboration with MAX Power and continues to own six million MAX Power shares, giving the company exposure to natural hydrogen exploration alongside its own helium-focused drilling strategy.
For REV, however, Aden is the beginning of a broader operated exploration campaign rather than a standalone well.
CEO Jordan Potts said the company intends to move approximately 20 miles southwest to its West Butte Project in Montana following Aden, where REV has begun the process of permitting multiple wells with the Montana Board of Oil and Gas Conservation.
West Butte covers approximately 6,171 acres and has previously been advanced using 3D seismic interpretation to identify prospective stacked reservoir targets.
Together, Aden and West Butte form the initial drilling focus of REV's strategy across the Northern Great Plains and southern Alberta.
The geographic setting is central to that strategy.
REV is targeting areas along an established helium fairway spanning the Alberta-Montana border, where the company is attempting to combine regional gas potential with prospect-scale structural definition.
At Aden, the immediate test is relatively straightforward: whether the four-way closure identified through seismic contains reservoir-quality rocks carrying meaningful helium concentrations.
If drilling encounters helium, subsequent work would still need to determine gas composition, reservoir pressure, connectivity, flow characteristics and potential recoverable volumes before the commercial significance of the discovery could be assessed.
The natural hydrogen objective is at an even earlier stage.
The Basal Cambrian and Precambrian basement will provide REV with an opportunity to gather direct subsurface information from rocks the company considers prospective for hydrogen, but the release does not report an existing hydrogen discovery at Aden.

KELOWNA, British Columbia – September 25, 2026: REV Exploration Corp. (“REV” or the “Company”) (TSXV: REVX; OTCID: REVFF; FSE: 7FF) is pleased to announce that drilling has commenced at the Company’s 100%-owned Aden Dome Project along the Alberta-Montana border, marking the launch of a planned multi-well drill program targeting potential new Helium discoveries in the Northern Great Plains with a major focus on Montana.
Highlights
Aden Dome’s combination of deep structural architecture, potential migration pathways, stacked porous reservoir intervals and structural closure forms the basis of REV’s discovery model for this advanced prospect located along a known Helium fairway;Drilling at Aden will test stacked Devonian Beaverhill Lake carbonates and the deeper Basal Cambrian sandstone within a seismically defined four-way structural closure; The deeper Basal Cambrian and Precambrian basement complex also offer Natural Hydrogen potential beyond the primary Helium objectives.
Mr. Jordan Potts, REV CEO, commented: “The drill bit is now turning, and a new chapter for REV is officially underway. Everything our team has been building, from our land packages to a series of compelling priority drill targets, has positioned REV as a leading Helium-focused opportunity serving America’s Northern Great Plains and southernmost Alberta. From Aden, we’ll move 20 miles southwest to our 6,171-acre West Butte Project where we have started the process of permitting multiple wells with the Montana Board of Oil and Gas Conservation.”
