HyTerra Records Flowing Hydrogen and Helium Gas Shows in McCoy 1 Well, Kansas

Vancouver, B.C. (October 8, 2025) — HyTerra Limited (ASX: HYT) (“HyTerra” or the “Company”) has announced encouraging results from its McCoy 1 well in the Nemaha Project, Kansas, confirming elevated flowing hydrogen and helium gas shows during real-time swabbing operations.

McCoy 1 marks the Company’s deepest well to date at 5,562 feet and represents HyTerra’s first non-twinned hole designed to directly test the Precambrian basement. Continuous hydrogen and helium flow readings were observed, supported by independent wellhead gas analyses from the McCoy 1, Sue Duroche 3, and Blythe 13-20 wells.

The results further validate the geologic hydrogen and helium system within the Nemaha Ridge, strengthening HyTerra’s position as a first mover in subsurface hydrogen exploration in North America. The Company plans to conduct a production test after the winter season in 2026 to appraise representative flowing gas compositions and evaluate scalability for commercial development.

HyTerra continues to build a portfolio of strategic natural hydrogen and helium assets located near industrial hubs across Kansas and Nebraska.
