Gold Hydrogen Prepares to Begin Flow Testing at Ramsay 2

Gold Hydrogen Limited is preparing to imminently begin flow testing at its Ramsay 2 well, marking the next stage of evaluation at the company's flagship natural hydrogen project in South Australia.

The company announced on August 11 that the SWS 04 workover rig has mobilised to the Ramsay 2 wellsite, while an Electrical Submersible Pump is being assembled and run into the wellbore ahead of the testing program.

With company personnel and key contractors now on site, Gold Hydrogen expects first flow from Ramsay 2 to commence within 24 hours.

The announcement represents an operational milestone: the upcoming program is intended to generate the flow data needed to further evaluate Ramsay 2, with Gold Hydrogen indicating that additional market updates will be provided as testing progresses. 

The photograph included on page one of the announcement shows the Ramsay 2 site fully mobilised for the program, with the workover rig, supporting equipment and contractors established at the wellsite.

For the emerging natural hydrogen sector, flow testing is an important step in moving beyond the identification of subsurface hydrogen toward understanding how a well performs under operating conditions.
