Gold Hydrogen Confirms 97% Natural Hydrogen Purity at Ramsay 3, Strengthening World-Class System Continuity in South Australia
Gold Hydrogen Limited (ASX: GHY) has successfully completed drilling at the Ramsay 3 well within its flagship Ramsay Project on South Australia’s Yorke Peninsula, confirming world-class natural hydrogen purity of up to 97% (air corrected) from the Parara Formation.
These results, obtained through advanced gas detection and laboratory analysis, represent a significant validation of continuity and lateral persistence in the Natural Hydrogen and Helium system first identified at Ramsay 2, extending over 2.3 kilometres up-dip.
“Ramsay 3 has demonstrated continuation of the promising Natural Hydrogen and Helium play from Ramsay 2,” said Neil McDonald, Managing Director of Gold Hydrogen. “To confirm purity levels of up to 97% and intersect multiple zones across several formations is extremely encouraging as we advance toward the well testing phase in early 2026.”
The well was drilled to a total depth of 884.2 metres, intersecting multiple gas-bearing zones within the Parara, Kulpara, and Hiltaba formations, all showing strong correlation with wireline log data and favourable porosity, fracturing, and fluid mobility characteristics consistent with Gold Hydrogen’s geological model.
A Completions and Well Test Program, scheduled for Q1 2026, will assess flow potential from multiple formations. Preparations are already underway, with long-lead items secured and the rig mobilizing to Ramsay 4, located 500 metres north of Ramsay 2.
