In just two years, the team has built a world class team, created the world's most advanced labs for water/rock interaction, secured a strong offtaker pipeline, identified sites in North America and beyond, drilled their first pilot well in Canada. Vema is backed by Marble, Extantia, Propeller, Grantham, Pace Ventures, Zero Carbon Capital and Bpifrance, raising $15m in equity financing.
