Top End Energy Invites Partners for Serpentine Natural Hydrogen Project in Kansas
Brisbane, Australia – July 14, 2025 – Top End Energy Ltd (ASX: TEE) has formally launched its farm-out process for the Serpentine Natural Hydrogen Project, offering partners the opportunity to join a globally significant natural hydrogen resource play in Kansas, USA.
The Serpentine project spans 31,000 acres and is positioned in one of the most prospective regions for natural hydrogen worldwide. It neighbours leases held by major players such as Koloma, which has raised over US$400M, and HyTerra, which is partially owned by Fortescue.
Key highlights include:
✅ Hydrogen detected in multiple wells across the project area.
✅ Independent estimates show recoverable prospective resources of up to 629 BCF (~1.4 million tonnes) of hydrogen.
✅ Coexisting helium potential, with Kansas already boasting a strong helium production framework.
✅ Proximity to major Midwest hydrogen consumers (fertilizer and refining industries).
“We already know hydrogen is there – now we need to prove its commerciality,” stated Top End Energy CEO Luke Velterop.
The company is seeking partners with technical expertise and capital strength to advance exploration drilling and unlock the resource’s full potential.
