QMET Expands Nova Scotia Natural Hydrogen Drill Program to 2,500 Metres Following New Geophysical Modelling by QIMC

(CSE: QIMC).
Recent geophysical integration by QIMC — combining advanced subsurface modelling with structural mapping and surface sampling — has refined and expanded several hydrogen-anomalous zones across QMET’s project area. This refined dataset has improved the understanding of the scale, geometry, and continuity of hydrogen-bearing structures, forming the technical foundation for the decision to increase total planned drilling.

Preparations for the expanded drilling phase are now underway with QIMC, targeting multiple fault-linked degassing corridors that have shown consistent hydrogen and radon–thoron anomalies across past field seasons. The integrated drilling program will systematically test the most promising structural intersections identified through QIMC’s gravimetric and LiDAR mapping, radon–thoron profiling, and soil gas datasets.
The expanded 2,500-metre program represents the next phase in QMET’s ongoing hydrogen exploration strategy across Nova Scotia’s Cumberland Basin corridor, complementing QIMC’s broader provincial exploration model that has catalyzed a staking rush across the region.
