Prominence Energy Secures $1.56M to Advance Gawler Hydrogen and Helium Project
Prominence Energy has secured firm commitments to raise $1.56 million through a placement involving existing shareholders, directors, and new sophisticated investors, strengthening its position to advance exploration at the Gawler Helium and Hydrogen Project in South Australia.
The capital raise will support progress toward key licence approvals, as well as on-ground technical work including advanced geophysics and the definition of priority leads and prospects. It also provides additional flexibility to continue evaluating the company’s broader asset portfolio while maintaining working capital.
The placement is being completed in two tranches, with director participation forming part of the second tranche subject to shareholder approval. The strong participation from both existing and new investors reflects growing confidence in Prominence’s strategic focus on emerging hydrogen and helium opportunities within a proven geological setting.
With funding now in place, the company is positioned to transition from early-stage targeting toward more advanced technical evaluation across its Gawler project, where it is targeting structurally controlled gas systems associated with favourable crustal conditions.
