Gold Hydrogen Advances Toward Ramsay Flow Testing Following High-Grade Hydrogen and Helium Results
Gold Hydrogen Limited has reported strong subsurface and geochemical results ahead of its upcoming Ramsay flow testing program, with mobilisation expected in late May and testing targeted to begin by late June.
Recent soil gas sampling across the Ramsay project area returned hydrogen concentrations of up to 2,160 ppm—approximately 4,000 times atmospheric background—among the highest reported in Australia using this method. These results extend beyond previously known occurrences, suggesting potential expansion of the system footprint.
In parallel, fluid inclusion studies across the company’s broader tenement portfolio indicate widespread occurrences of both hydrogen and helium across multiple geological settings. The co-occurrence of both gases reinforces the potential for dual-resource systems and expands the exploration opportunity beyond the core Ramsay project.
Petrophysical re-interpretation of wireline data from Ramsay-3 and Ramsay-4 has materially increased the estimated gross reservoir thickness—by more than 200% in Ramsay-3—while identifying additional porous zones for testing. These findings have directly enhanced the upcoming flow test program, which will target discrete hydrogen and helium-bearing formations through zonal testing.
The company is also evaluating early-stage development pathways, including the potential to fast-track helium production in response to tightening global supply conditions. With approximately 35% of global helium supply currently offline and demand rising across sectors such as AI, medical, and advanced manufacturing, helium represents a potential near-term commercial opportunity alongside longer-term hydrogen development.
With a large-scale tenement position exceeding 75,000 km² and increasing technical validation across multiple datasets, Gold Hydrogen is moving toward a critical phase where subsurface indicators will be tested under production-style conditions.
